Richard Kusserow Featured in the Wall Street Journal on the Power of Corporate Hotlines

The Wall Street Journal recently explored why corporate hotlines are effective tools for reporting misconduct. On September 12, 2025 the Wall Street Journal released the article, “Sex Scandals. Accounting Fraud. Itโ€™s All Showing Up on the Corporate Hotline” discussing how hotlines offer employees a safe, anonymous way to report misconduct and are now used by over 90 percent of U.S. companies with over 1,000 employees. Among industry experts interviewed was Richard Kusserow, Strategic Management CEO, and a pioneer in the industry who helped establish one of the first third-party hotlines in the 1990s. He shared how the industry has evolved from 24/7 phone operators to modern online reporting systems.
