Compliance Program Services
Over the past decade, the United States Sentencing Commission and the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) have issued a number of guidelines or standards for effective compliance programs covering various entities within the health care industry. The OIG’s Compliance Program Guidance documents provide a critical framework for developing and implementing an effective Compliance Program. In addition, the Compliance Program Guidance and supplemental documents recommend that health care organizations conduct “ongoing auditing and monitoring” of the compliance program to ensure effectiveness.
