Professional Experience
Ms. Jennings works with clients to provide advisory services. These efforts include conducting regulatory research and analysis related to the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Laws, False Claims Act, Medicare Parts A and B, HIPAA, and Accountable Care Organizations. She assists clients in the research, development and implementation of compliance programs, strategic plans, risk assessments, and Medicare and Medicaid fraud detection. Additionally, Ms. Jennings works with clients to help them develop audit protocols and review compliance with numerous regulations. A particular area of focus is assisting clients with evaluating physician arrangements for compliance with the Stark Laws and Anti-Kickback Statute. Ms. Jennings also works closely with Strategic Management senior management to advise clients on issues such as employment contracts, HIPAA Privacy and Security, TriCare billing requirements, and conditions of participation for hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Furthermore, she reviews and upgrades compliance policies and procedures, conducts compliance training programs, and facilitates focus group sessions for problem identification and resolution.
Previous Work Experience
Prior to joining Strategic Management, Ms. Jennings performed legal research for the Administrative Law Judges of the Department of Health and Human Services, Medicare Appeals Council, and interned with a national medical association, where she provided compliance guidance and regulatory research and analysis to medical colleges.
